This is one of the most insane and terrible things I have ever read, about a little girl who was entirely abandoned by her psycho mother, and the authorities found the poor kid in a closet of a garbage house, totally neglected. Now she's a case study in what happens when a human being is literally never brought into the outside world. It's amazing.
